Yeah, arena is right, sometimes I feel like I'm on the highwire in a circus when dealing with CCC's. LOL

ok guys i recieved a summons to court from a divorce atty that i used in 2001- i have been making monthly payment to him since the divorce was final in 2001- the payments were 25.00 per month - i recieved a letter from him two months ago demanding large sum be paid on account or he would sue me- i started paying 50.00 per month- wed march 4th i was served a summons to court for payment in full on the account- how do i respond to court without a atty? and i submitted a complaint with the arkansas atty general reg this matter

I thought I would say hello to everyone. I'm new to this site and am excited about gaining some effective tools to fight back against unscrupulous CA's. I've learned alot recently and have gained some insight on how I plan to clean up my credit. I look forward to learning even more from the members here!

O.K. Guys, the sheriff tried to deliver a summons to me but I was not home. He left a note however, the summons is in my old married name from a creditor. Should I call him to have him bring it? I had a legal name change a year a so ago. I think I know which creditor. They have been tring to serve me by mail. I sent them back as wrong address to buy some time. I know this debt is over three years old.

Glad to have joined. Have already located TONS of useful info! Currently battling Afni Inc over their posting a collection to my credit report regarding a non-existent Qwest Account and have enjoyed the information I've found on this forum! Beautiful!
