I used to get calls by ASTRA aka RIDDLE twice daily and now NOTHING this past month. What do you think happens to get them of other JDB's from calling?
Validation is not the answer,I am pretty sure as they kept calling way after me sending off a CRRR validation letter, which BTW they never answered.

They do that sometimes; just drop out of site especially if you are not responding.

Here's to not responding. Seriously if they start to call again I am ready for a suit, just didn't want to bother with it during the summer and fall.
Winter is the time for me.
I like doing one suit at a time,as it can get time consuming.

Any number of factors could enter into the euation, not the least of which could include different guidance from counsel or changes in the way a particular court has viewed continued collections. It could also simply mean that they sold it to another third-party and the other third-party actually paid attention to the C&D.

Regardless of the reason, you just set the file to the side and occasionally blow the dust off of it as you check your reports...
