Various credit/debt boards

I've been following various boards (CN, AoC, DB, CB) off/on over the last several years (I'm still a little miffed that all of my AoC links don't work anymore). Can someone feel me in on which ones co-exist nicely with this one? I know there is some animosity between some of the boards, but all I see here are people making references without actually stating the name.

Also, can anyone provide their opinions on cross-posting to these various boards? I have noticed some people seem to stick to one board and other people seem to follow multiple boards. IMHO, a board is only as good as its participants. I guess some boards are better in certain credit areas than others?? Am I correct in stating that participants on this board seem to have more actual legal knowledge when it comes to initiating or defending suits.

Just wondering.

Well, your AOC links will never work again, that board is gone. Ownership here has permission to post rescued AOC threads. Its a work in progress, but have you seen that forum?

Pretty much everyone co-exists. Sometimes individual personalities don't

Nothing wrong with cross-posting your own stuff everywhere. Never hurts to get more than one opinion. However, you will, in all likelihood get different types of information - each board seems to have its own slant on credit and debt. Ultimately, you are still solely responsible for researching any/all advice.

Some people can multi-task. (I can't)

Agreed

Probably so - again its really about a particular board's focus that makes them different/better.

A lot of the participants with actual legal knowledge post on multiple boards. I don't know that we have any more or any less than any other.

MED, I agree with Jlynn on most all of her answers to you...however, in your case you are in Texas if I have read your posts correctly. We have several posters here that are experienced in Texas courts, if that is your focus.

Remember, you and only you can follow any advice that you receive on any board. Ultimately to prevail, you must also do your homework and find the course that is right for you.

I agree with jlynn and hannah. We welcome people to post on different boards to get different opinions, but as others have said, you need to do your own research.

Some other boards may not like cross-posting, but I think most co-exist pretty well.

Again, most is personal preference. I've posted on most of the boards at one time or another, but I settled here because I like the people, and posts here tend not to be moved or deleted. Everyone can offer advice, and if some thing it isn't good advice, they're free to speak up and say so.

I have no real problems with any particular boards in general. If anything, I may not like certain mods at certain boards, but I'm not naming names.

Lets not forget www.floridadebtor.com

Very niche and not very big, but I like the info there.

MED I started my journey on CB last October. I still go to CB almost daily as I have my regulars there I talk to and others who I would like to help from getting bad advice from a certain member who thinks they are Johny Cochran...who is just a newbie and only been in court once...

Anyway each board has their own vibe and personality...

AOC was my favorite as it was like a family over there...IC has now become my permanent home besides my own site.

I used to go to CIC and DB but CIC I just didnt get the feeling..

DB politics, politics and more politics...board polotics that is and a staff that talks out their ass..

DB had some very valuable resources on the site but to many people handing out bad advice left and right and arguing all the time... One person needed the spotlight on them ALL THE TIME or it just wasnt DB...

The smaller boards I dont go to...its usually people talking to themselves....like the word revolves around them

We hope you will stay here so you dont have to deal with alot of

This site is great and its like a huge family. The people are great. Advice good and not so good is offered freely without censorship and we have a HOF forum to voice your opinion...

So now back to your regular broadcasting

Jay,
I must say I am impressed with your inclusion of images to tell your story. Your spelling still sucks, however, and that after I have told you repeatedly that we have spell check here.

Just stay away from the crazy people and you will be fine.

This is the best credit site in the world, because it has the arcade.

And just where do you fit in under the above scenario?

At this particular moment in time, probably somewhere near Jakarta.

Thanks for the responses. I agree, it is ultimately up to the person to come to their own conclusion(s) based on (or not) the information they obtain here or any board. I definitely believe in doing your own homework. Though, I always don't understand the homework assignment. (Can I laugh at my own jokes?)

Other than defending a JDB suit, my next goal is to become as proficient at inserting the appropriate image as Jay is.

I try to stay clear of all the controversial threads, and only speak when spoken to.

That takes time and you can only learn when your two sheets to the wind Hannah and Jlynn taught me well....

Another reason I came to this board is because of the fellow Texans. Can't go wrong with that logic.
