This is what a collector said to a Judge on the Texas Court of Appeals.

I got a big kick out of this statement in that story...

I cannot imagine any collection call case being worth $275,000 unless it was a class action and the bulk of the award was for attorney's fees...wonder if I can find it on Lexis by attorney name? Anyone know anything about the case?

Someone posted one in the last year or so that was closer to $600,000. The punitive damages under state claims got it up that high. |

That video is classic, but the "end your life" harassment call was directed at another woman. The article says: "like this recording with other victims."
