Another Chapter in "How To Piss Off A Judge"
In a bankruptcy case in the Southern District of Florida, William P. Smith, a partner at McDermott Will & Emery and the head of its bankruptcy department, actually told a judge she was "a few French Fries short of a Happy Meal" in open court. See the transcript below. On May 21, the judge issued a show cause order summoning Smith to explain why he should not be suspended from practicing before the court for his comment, and why his pro hac vice status as a visiting attorney should not be suspended. He's now saying he's "very, very, very sorry..."
The hearing is scheduled to take place June 20th at 11 a.m. before Ms. Happy Meal herself.

I can hardly wait for the blog version, where someone will steal this thread and explain exactly why she was a "few french fires short" with "inside information", and how pro se'ers can get away with such activity. I am sure it has to do with the mob, aliens, global warming, Wolpoff & Abramson, or maybe even all of the above.

Ummmmmmmmmmm why cant a Judge be loco?
In my city a Judge is suing a dry cleaner for $54 million because they lost his
PANTS for two days.
The legal fees for the defendants are now over $100,000 and the Plaintiff has lost his 3 hour a day $125,000 a year job over this. The Plaintiff cries like a baby on the stand and the defendant cries even more.
If any judge on earth is missing a few french fries its the stoopid judge who allowed this moron to even get this into court.

He did lower the amount he was asking for from $67 million to $54 million. I can't believe it hasn't been thrown out. Talk about frivolous!

Yes it is now going to trial and the reporters chase the guy while he sulks into his car.
He is a Judge who is appointed to ten year terms and is up for renewal. Possibly the only person in this city with any sense is his boss who has recommended he not be put up for another term.....meaning he has lost his job over this.
