wireless phone recorder

o.k. techies, heres a question for ya
i have 2 samsung c417 cell phones ...
i bought a digital recorder, and the radioshack wireless phone recording controller(17-855)
when the controller is plugged into the headset jack of my phone , it kills the keypad and receives a solid tone back to the recording device...
after talking to samsung's techs, they told me that samsung does not have any accessories that allows cell phone calls to be recorded and neither do they support anybody elses accessories...
sooooooo, does anybody have any ideas other than to put the calls on speaker phone or to buy another cell phone??

I did all my recording on a land phone.

PR posted about a kit you can buy for your cell phone way back when, but I forget what it was. Maybe he'll chime in.

I'm down with the six pack, but you're saying it won't plug into your phone, correct? If so, I think there is an adapter that you can buy, but don't quote me on that.

Now, I like Michelob light. What are you drinking?

Not really a beer drinker, but that's what I drink when I do.

Bud Light here. I don't ever trust wireless as I am in the mountains. That line-of-sight screws things up at times...
