How do lawyers pick Judges???

How does an attorney get his case before a Judge he wants?

I know they can basically make things happen in such a way that they will get the Judge they "want".

So how do they do it?

And...........can we do it too?

It all depends on the level of court one happens to be in...sometimes it has to do with simply filing at a particular level, other times it is knowing what day certain cases get assigned to certain judges, other times it may be a call to the favor bank in the Clerk's office, and the list goes on...

But the bottom line is we support the election campaign of the judges with a clue...
