A homeless man in Detroit found $21,000 in bonds and returned it. He was given $100 for his honesty.

Do you think this was a cheap reward?

Cheap bastids...I could understand the limited cash if they had done something like set him up for six months in a basic apartment or something. But to limit it only to a c-note...hell, Derek gives people more than that and they are not trying to return a few hours of casino money to him.

That's what I think too, but since he is homeless I'll bet they thought to themselves, "He should be happy to get that." I 'll be they feel like crap now though because people started sending the guy stuff after they found out. Some people are something else, because I would have given him some money, some clothes, personal hygienes, some grocery store gift cards, treated him to dinner, etc ....there was a whole lot of things they could have done. How far does a $100 go nowadays?

Not far.

When I heard the story on the radio I thought they were pretty cheap.

Cheap sons bitches, 100 bucks. I would have dropped my pants, whipped my behind with the bill and then handed it back to them

I wonder if any of their friends or associates have blasted them for doing something so low because it really is a low thing to do.
