I've never bought any stocks, preferring to buy art and real estate instead.
I also like the fact that I MANAGE my own money and the brokers gets nothing.
Blue chip art and antiques have done very well in the market place IMO |

He was Soros partner, although they hate each other now.
He also is the guy who called the market top.
He is good.
Enigma he also suggested purchasing AG futures, I believe those generally go up as the stock market goes down. He thinks the dollar will continue to go down, which I do not necessarily agree with as it may of bottomed. |

| Well here in MI we are in a recession hell. NO matter what anyone says. Its mostly because the state relies so much on manufacturing and cars.
Here where I live in West Mi it is a huge Medical city, DW got a job at the local hospital after working with the same doctor for 17 yrs. This allowed me to go back to school fall and this semester as well as work from home.
You used to be able to pick up the job section of the paper and it was full of jobs. Now its like 3 pages long. DW was smart as she made me invest a percentage of the settlements I have been getting since 06 including the big mortgage one. My grandfather invests the $ for us as he is a self made wealthy man.
Therefore, I don't have to pay a broker
If it was not for DW I would be working my butt off again as a regional property manager. I told DW when I was done with school she could go to culinary school . I know our medical insurance was close to 2K every two months for BCBS (same policy she had with old job carried over for that price). Now the hospital she works for pays 80%

I met some people about 10 years ago that were buying goods at a local Sam's and shipping them to Hawaii because it was cheaper that way.
For the first time in forever the economy is actually booming where I am. |

Dont worry Drivel...it will come back.....buy more!!!! | I don't know where anyone got the idea that I would invest in this particular stock. You know you are supposed to diversify.
In semi-related news, I want to wish everyone a happy upcoming holiday season. It's the season falling right after Xmas and new years, and Kicks off in full earnest the day after w2's are due employees.
Yes my friends, it's tax refund season. Best wishes for you and yours.

| Or, it could be tax payment season, depending upon your withholding status.
I once worked with a woman who couldn't understand why they weren't getting a refund when they had bought a house. She heard that you always got a refund when you bought a house.
I tried to explain to her that it depends on how much you have withheld. She would end up paying less than they would without the house. The concept was totally lost.

| Why all this talk about stocks when the real news is about WVU football?
Not to mention that 203 spam emails got through my filter today and every single one either wanted to help me lengthen my penis or cleanse my colon.
