Re: Bank of America Corp. buys Merrill Lynch & Co
I wish I had bought even more BoA stock. Maybe I'll get some more--it will probably be down for a while.
I think they're going to give Citi a run for the money as the biggest bank.

Re: Bank of America Corp. buys Merrill Lynch & Co
I decided for BoA over WAMU several months ago. I'm also looking at BB&T, which is a regional bank.

By the above logic isnt Lehman Brothers the best of all? It is trading at 15 cents or so and is a lot cheaper than BOA so it must be a better buy.
There are numerous rumors that one of the mega banks ie Citi or BOA is about to fail as well.
This mess is twelve to 18 months from being over. Buying here is like a ticket to the Nigerian Lottery.

I didn't like their numbers. Nor WAMU's, nor Merrill Lynch's.
I also chose BoA over Citi and Chase.

Yes, buying now is too risky. Most likely there is more downside to financials.

You can't predict the absolute bottom. Get in, stay in. Over the next 10-15 years you'll be glad you bought low instead of high.
