Hi, I am Seagrass and I remember Hedwig from AoC and used him as a referring source. I hope that that is OK.

As Qtip and Hedwig alluded to in their very first posts in this thread, I am also an addict.

I am addicted to inaction, to avoidance and I fall into horrible patterns when it comes to management of credit and money. I haven't used credit for 2 and 1/2 years thanks to AoC. My marriage is near collapse but I think I can salvage it. I need a paradigm shift when it comes to responsible management of of money. My kids are most at risk.

And I am 47 years old. It was hard to say all of this. It is very hard to say these things.

That is the first step. Figure out what the problem is, then figure out a way to solve it. You are half way there. You just have to make a quality decision that you want a better life.

Hi all, I still consider myself a newbie - some things I'm still learning the hard way. I found credit repair when I just got so tired of dealing w/harrassment by cross country bank. I was so new - I typed in the google search box "I'm being harassed by cross country bank" and it led me to AOC. I've been a credit repair junkie since (about 2005). When I really started working on my credit I was in the low 500's, now so close to 600 - just been employed for 1 year yesterday and getting some credit finally. Credit repair can be frustrating at times - but I enjoy reading the boards everyday. Like right now my daughters hanging out with her friends, hubby is hanging out with his friends and I'm hanging out with my friends (you guys)!!! Thanks so much.

We have filed for separation and I feel an unusual sense of peace. The sadness was always there. I must protect my sons though and some of it is protecting them from myself.

Up until this site came about, I did not realize how many of our members are females and the contributions they have made to the credit repair industry in general.
