Hello all, my name is Rob........anyone have the same issues?

Hello,
First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude towards everyone, I am not in this alone. Well, I am in the military and have been for fourteen years and am trying to eliminate my old debts so I can become recommended to persue Lieutenent. Ironically, I have to deal with a company that seemingly told me that there is a "watch report" on my credit report. I asked that I get my "severely" aged JC Penney account validated considering the fact that my account has been closed for nearly 12 years. This company is called Dekalb County Solutions, great friendly chaps. As far as the rest, my credit wouldn't be too bad off if agencies would comply. This credit repair saga is a nightmare. I was registered with CreditGuard and that didn't pan out too well. Does anyone have any advice? Again, my name is Rob.......glad to say hello.

Closed for 12 years and still on your credit report?? Negative (bad) accounts should be falling off your CR after 7 years.

Read and reread the essentials forum. That's the place to start. Then post your questions in the credit forum.

Welcome to the site!
