Collection Attorneys and Dunning Letters
I recently dug this out of my archives and re-read it and as it does address some questions we have had here on IC in the past few weeks, I thought I would post it so that all may read and benefit. It is written by an attorney, Eric Berman, published in the DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal, and is pretty thorough on detailing (with caselaw) what a meaningfully involved collection attorney must do to stay in compliance with dunning letters. Very good read. It is from 2003 so it is fairly current information.
