If my boss is late paying my business credit card bill does it affect my credit rating?

I work for a small business, which has issued me a credit card to use for business expenses. The card has my name on it and the business name. If my employer is late making payments on the card, will that show up on my credit report/rating?

I would call the credit card company to be certain (number should be on the back of it). My friend has a credit card just for her business' expenses too, and if they don't pay it's all on HER credit. But that's how THEY have it set up. You might simply have THEIR card with your name on it.

Good luck!

It depends. The card may actually be in the business' name and your name appears on the card as one of the users.

To know for sure, you will need to confirm with you finance department. Or if you would rather, pull a free credit report and see if the issue bank of the car appears as revolving credit on your credit report. That would confirm if the card is indeed in your name. From what you have written if sounds like your name appears on the card as a user of the company card, but it is best to confirm.
