I have excellent credit, but want to get Business Credit to get a business in the food department.?
I'm a US Marine, and have always had lots of bills mostly due to bad timing or luck in life and the fact we don't make that much money in comparison to the civilian sector and specially in the first few ranks. But, I have had good credit for many years because I have always concentrated on developing my credit, and in the last few months after I paid all my bills, my credit score jumped thru the roof and my credit is EXCELLENT roaming arounf the 800 points (FICO Score). My wife is not quite up there but she also have really good credit (750ish).
We are now planning to buy our first home and having excellent credit is helping things in a huge way even though we don't have any money to put down so we are going with 100% finance and use the little we have been saving to pay closing costs and what not..
NOW, I want to also stablish a business, and even though between me and my wife have almost 150,000 available in personal credit, will be better to get BUSINESS credit instead?
And if it really is better to get a business line of credit or multiple lines of credit with multiple companies, how do I about it and what should I expect from them or what do I need? Or will it better to go directly to a bank present my idea and hope they will get me the financing I need.
