I'm new to paypal so any help is appreciated
So if I use paypal to buy something online they will take the money from the paypal account?

You deposit an amount in your PayPal account to open it and add to it as you need money in there to pay for online purchases. Your credit card is used as collateral of sorts in case you overspend they can bill your credit card for it. When you receive money in your PayPal account from someone you can either leave it there or make a withdrawal. The money you withdraw is electronically sent direct to your bank account so you can access it and that usually tkes 2 to 3 business days before it hits your account.

It will go to your Pay Pal account but you will pay a fee to them for receiving it.

When you buy something online they first depleat the account and the balance would be charged to your card. No fee involved for buying.

If you maintain a balance with them however it earns 5.05% interest last I checked.
