i was doing payments on my credit card world points and i already paid everything but since i was making the payments automatically each month theirs still taking money from my cheking account each month how can i stop that and tranfer the money from the credit card to my checking account ?

I overpaid a Bank of America card also and decided to just leave the money there and keeping charging stuff to the card (without making additional payments) until the balance that they owe me goes down to zero.
