Credit Card charging me for something that is not my fault?
I didn't receive my monthly statement this month, so I didn't know when was the payment due date and I found out that it is due today so I immediately made an online account and made the payment but I realized that they will be charing me a $15 dollar fee for being late, I told them that I am not responsible for this because I didn't get the bill. Is there anything I can do to waive the fee? They told me they can't waive it. I don't care about the money, if it was my fault then I would pay without any hesitation, but this I feel like is a scam.
Can someone please tell me what can I do for them o remove the fee.

It is your fault that you didn't pay it, statement or not. You're responsible for keeping track of your bills, not they. If you've not been late before they can waive the fee as a one-time courtesy. You cannot do anything to waive it but ask them to please do so. They can tell, by your record, if you are due this courtesy!

If you used the card then you knew you would have a balance due this month, regardless of not recieveing the bill (which sounds fishy in and of itself). All 4 of my credit cards are due on the same day EVERY month, so that should have been a clue as well.
I say write the $15 up to lesson learned and make sure you pay on time from now on.

No one is responsible except the person looking back at you from the mirror.
You are supposed to keep up with your bills, not your creditors.

Your due date is about the same every month and the bills arrive about the same time every month. You should have noticed that you had not received your bill by the time that you normally send the payment and known to look for your statement online.
How would they know that you are telling the truth? They only know when they send the statement, not when the mail is delivered.

It could have been a problem with the mail delivery. It's not their fault.
Also, keep a record of when payments are due and if you do not receive a bill, go online and pay it anyway.
Go on their website and sign up for paperless statements so that future statements can be emailed to you.

There are any number of reasons you didn't get the statement on time, and the credit card company is not responsible for when you get your statement. The statement is just a reminder of your bill, and record of your account; you don't need to have it in your hand to pay your bill.
You are responsible for paying on time, every time. The bill is due the same time every month. Make a note of it on your calendar to make sure you don't miss it again.

Ouch hard responses but so true, we are responsible for paying our cards on time. Bill or not, I am surprised that they are not willing to waive the late fee. Have you been late before?
