PROBLEMS with the imagine credit card!!!!!!?

ok i have the imagine credit card, ive had it from dec06
well ive made my payments all on time till june07, they raised my limit in march07
when i was having problems with doc bills and i couldnt pay, i talked to them and told them and they said they would work with me well i post dated a check for the end of this month and they closed my card!!!!!!
the card was for 400 and it had charges of 278 so 678 total
they said there is nothing they can do to reopen it
so is there anything i can do???? they lied to me
and how does this effect my credit report because it says they closed it.

I doubt it. If a creditor wants to close your account, that is their perogative. Just get a different card.

what you may want to do is pay it out before it hits collection regardless if they close it or you closed ot yourself. Imagine Visa isn't really a good company, the money that you pay to them in monthly fees and yearly fees, you may have well just went secured anyway. my credit was horrible and I used www.orchardbank.com for a secured card, also Bank of america offers secured cards as well. so don't stress about Imagine because i t wasn't worth it. pay them off and then dispute them off your credit, because you were not warned.

People do this all the time, you get a subprime card with all those fees associated and then use the card pushing your amount up to the max and then they hit you with the fees you agreed to pay them when you opened the card.
If you look at your agreement it will show Imagine will nail you with all kinds of fees, then once you use the card hit you with overlimits etc pushing you well above the amount.
This is kill your credit score, I would suggest that you call them and get something from them to make arrangements to pay them or it will tank your score.
You wont be able to fight them off much because like FP, Orchard, Aspire and all those you knew the charges and fees they were going to hit with you before you used the card.
I would do whatever I could to get them happy and make some huge payments to get it down below the real credit limit.
They will be a nightmare for you if you do not.
Sorry, but these CC companies eat people alive with fees and hope you mess up so they can get more $$ from you.
Work with them.
