Is your credit card # the same as your account #?

I just got a bank of america visa credit card. and i want to pay my bill online but i don't have a bill which came in the mail because it was lost. so, is my account # the same as my credit card # thats shown on the card?

If you are referring to when you make a call to your credit card company they will ask for your card number not your account number. if you are referring to your calling your bank they want your actual account number not the number on your credit/debit card. hope i helped :-)

Yes, if it is a real credit card. If it is debit or ATM card, then no the number on the card is not the same as your checking or savings account number.
