Why I don't sign up for credit card.?

Hi
The reason why I don't sign up for online credit cards from American Express, Chase. Discovery, etc because I heard horror stories about people sending in their payments by mail and their payment check gets lost in the mail. Then people gets charged like 15% .That is why I like getting credit cards from brick&mortar company like Bank of America, Washington Mutual. Citibank. etc. That way, when I have to pay the credit card bills. I can go to their bank and pay it off. get a receipt, and knowing that it won't get lost in the mail.

Please feel free to leave any comments.

Thank you

You can pay most all credit cards online and avoid the problems with payments being lost in the mail.

I have never sent my payment through the mail, I always pay online. it shows up online, and I dont have to make the drive to the bank. Saves gas.

Very rare nowadays that people sending their payments through the mail. No one can't control the post office of when they'll delivery the mail. Besides, if anyone wants to send payment through the mail, they should allow at least 7 days.

Just make the payment online.... there is nothing to be lost that way.

I would be more worried about the bank branch screwing up then I would worry about making a payment online.
