The reward should be your satisfaction in having done the right thing. You should not demand or expect any financial compensation. You would want someone else to do the same if you lost your credit card, wouldn't you?
We behave ethically when we do a good deed and nobody's looking over our shoulder. As the Bible puts it, your left hand shouldn't know what your right hand is doing. The Bible goes on to say that "Your Father, who sees you in secret, will reward you."
