I have applied for an Amazon credit card which is with the Halifax and I have received a letter from amazon asking for more information in order to process the request. Perhaps I am being overcautious but the letter doesn't look very professional - just a photocopied letter head and not very much detail. Is it just me or could this be someone trying to obtain my details for fraudulent use?

I gave up - I started the process and got fed up with the bazillion questions.
