Credit card co wont give info I need???

Recent Q. under credit which I answered, got me thinking there has to be some way to deal with credit card cos. customer serv. people who keep playing dumb, or are dumb. A notice with a previous statement said new way to figure my charges by like daily compound, no doubt will increase my minimum payment and finance charges.

So isn't it the card's resonsibility to tell us the specifics of what they will be doing shortly? I got no help from cust. service or a supposed supervisor and have spent a very long time on phone. No one claims any knwoledge of the notice I got. It has no date, just a small 4-page insert, the kind with small print and no signature. If several people there know nothing and dont seem to have a way to even get hold of a copy of this mysterious notice I got, at what point am I not responsible for the new terms when they hit? I'm trying to be pro-active but the co. sounds like I'm making a nuisance calls. I mean, it IS my credit and payments involved!Contact who?

that's why i use cash. if you don't like their service, don't use them. they tell you what they want you to know in fine print and then can revise it without your consent. sometimes they do send out revisions, but they don't need permission to change much of anything. the best thing to do to credit card companies is not to give them your business.

Just pay your bill off every month in full so you dont get finance charges.

If not then you are subject to whatever or however they want to charge you finance charges. You are borrowing their money. It sounds like you dont really know a lot about compounding interest, I think just the phrase scares you.

I used to work for a major credit card company and had to explain how it works to people all the time. I just dont feel like typing it all out. Maybe someone else on here will for you.

Like I said just pay your bill off in full every month. If you cant then just pay it off as soon as possible and live with what they charge you for you are using their money.
