I heard that FICO scores wont include your credit history on a credit card acount that isnt originally yours...in other words you have to be the main one on the account for it to include that account in your FICO score

Yes, people were doing unethical things with their credit reports.

The reason they did it is because people with good credit were adding strangers to as authorized users on their accounts for a fee.
