I do and I think it was the dumbest thing I ever have done. They rack up all kinds of fines and the thing that irritates me most is that they send you the bill and it says the minimum payment is one thing so you send it in and then you get a letter saying that you didnt send in the correct amount. Have you ever had a credit card? Do you regret getting one?

I have lots of credit cards, and they are nice to have. I always pay off the balance because I don't spend what I don't have. Sometimes they give you a 0% rate on balance transfers, and that is a cheap loan. As said earlier, it is a good way to build credit history, and with that you can get car/home loans easier and with lower rates.

A good thing to do is keep all your receipts, and keep track of the balance in something like Quicken (I know you have a computer). Credit cards can be good for an emergency too.
