Is there a way to pay rent from credit card by making an arrangement with my landlord?

I figure if I can pay everything through my credit card, that'll translate into points or cashback. Is there a way I can make this arrangement with my landlord (not an institution).
Thanks,

Read your lease! The specific types of payments your landlord will receive should be stated in the contract you signed with him. But, special arrangements can always be made after the fact if everyone is in agreement.

the other responders are correct...and in addition ---even if the landlord did accept credit cards -he would be charged a fee by the credit card company to do this and you would probably have to pay that fee.

so ---use your counter checks provided by the credit card company...if you dont have any, call them and request about 10.

good luck

Yes, those credit card checks are an option. Just be advised: when you write those checks, they are considered a cash advance and you will pay a higher APR on that than you would with the regular charges you do at a store.
