Are credit cards the only payment method i can use to book a flight?

unless you pay a travel agent, yes. online, you can only use a credit card.

No! If you are at the travel agent you can pay for your plane ticket by cash, check, debt card, credit card or by using your air miles. Unfortunately, if you are buying ticket over the telephone it is going to be debt card, credit card or card with your air miles (if you got one)!

if you buy online,yes otherwise any payment will do.
for personal checks though,they take some precautions
like id number and so on just in case ....

I used to work in a travel agency and we practically accept everything like checks, money order,cards,cash, money orders etc.,but its better to use a credit card for insurance purposes.
