A bill for $19.99 from Yahoo*Mail was on my credit card. I dont have a credit card tied

to my Yahoo Mail Acct I called the phone number (866-562-7228) on the credit card statement and told the customer service rep that I didnt understand why or how my credit card had been used. It's possible that I charged something and didnt know the bill would appear as "Yahoo*Mail" so I dont want to automatically dispute the charge with my credit card company. However, the rep couldnt find any reason for the billing either. She then asked me for my credit card number, which I found somewhat unnerving. She said she needed it to research the bill since it didnt show up under my Yahoo name. I ended the call without giving her the credit card number. Before I call the credit card company, I want to make sure that the charge isnt legitimate. Is the phone number above really Yahoo's number? How can I check this bill out? Thanks so much!

Check to see if you have a Mail Plus account with Yahoo! If you do, the $19.99 is the yearly cost.

If you are able to change the font, use stationary, colors, etc. you have a Mail Plus account.
