I'm considering buying the game, as a bunch of my friends play, and I know about the prepaid game-cards. My question is.. do you need to use a credit card number just to set up the account and stuff? I want to make sure i'll never have to enter a credit card number at any point in time.

Also, I know i'll use the game cards to pay for the subscription, but I want to make sure it won't automatically charge me or anything when my gamecard runs out. It'll just block me from playing till i get a new one, right?
I didn't ask your opinion of the game. I asked about having a credit card.
Also, how can it ruin my social life when i specifically mentioned that a couple of my friends already play it? It's a way for me to talk to them from my computer while i play a game.

well if you want to renew your account monthly, then yes you need a credit card. But you can buy 30 day cards at video game stores. BTW this game will ruin your social life.

you don't. after your game card runs out, it will not let you log in until you buy a new one and use it.
