Has anyone applied for a credit card and changed their mind after accepting it on line?

The credit card company is closed today, which is Sunday, the same day I applied. I am going to call tomorrow and see if they will let me cancel. Does anyone know if they will let me cancel this card before it gets sent out to me.

You have to call to activate it. Don't call the activation line, and be sure to shred your credit card up or cut it with scissors.

Yes, normally they will.
Make sure if there were any activation fees, that they reverse those charges also.

Most companys will let you cancel with no fee as long it is within the specified time period that should be listed online or the back of the advertised mailer. Be sure not to use it when it comes and call to cancel
