I called the 1800 number on the back of the card last nite to find out what my balance was on the card and the recording said my payment was due on 9/19. I missed it because I work quite a bit and dont think I ever got a bill. Will this adversely affect my credit? I paid them a payment right away over the phone and she told me she would take the fee off my credit card bill. What does that mean?

Discover WILL jack your rate and assess late fees. Check your statement online. get a payment in and call them asap. We got screwed over by them more then once.
