Does the statute apply 7 years to a minor (14 yr old) that is issued a credit card by a
credit card co? If a credit card company issues a credit card to a 14 year old minor because they can lie on the application, can they harrass the parents about paying the debt? Will it carry over after they are 21 to pay or will the statute of limitations apply to this as well- 7 years and off their credit?"
It was a friends Daughter- she wanted to go shopping- gave her real SS# but her age she entered a false birth date to appear older. I dont know why the credit card company gave her a card, was a 300 dollar limit.
