I was able to get a Chase AOL Rewards Card (Visa) just this summer and I had no credit history.

They started me out with a $500 limit and raised it to $1000 within the first month.

Capital One usually gives out cards easily...but they often have annual fees. Don't apply or accept any offers for cards that have annual fees...you shouldn't have to pay each year to keep a card active.

household bank or orchard bank is easy to get. they give small limits at first but will raise the limits periodically when good payment history is established.
