1. IF your pre-paid card has the VISA logo on it then yes you can, but you need to go to the website to the company that you bought the prepaid card at, because there might be an age limit restriction on it first and you will have to verify that you are legal and not a underage adult buying the card to make over age spending.
2. Yes you can use the VISA card on on line transactions if they take VISA, the difference on a CREDIT CARD and a PRE-PAID CREDIT CARD is that your card is coded showing it is pre-paid thus you could not use it for renting cars, or renting high end equipment, those agencies will have a written form saying they do not take pre-paid cards. Also they work different when purchasing gas at the gas pumps because they have to have a $50.00 limit on them before they authorize (that is limit on my pre-pay card). Whatever you are purchasing with your pre-paid card should work like any credit card, as long it does not go over the limit you have on the card you should be alright, and what I stated above make sure it does not have a age limit because if it does then you are not going to purchase items over 21 years old.
