Looking into getting my first credit card, any suggestions?

Im 19 and a college student and i want to get my first credit card. I want one that gives out rewards for using them (Best buy, etc. ) but any other credit card will do. Im confused on which one is best for me.

my friend america works for citibank....and their credit cards have low interest rates...AND....everytime you use it, you get flyer miles, which is rather fantastic, if you feel like traveling.
