yeah, you'll just have two credit cards for that store, and you'll have 2 bills and you'll be paying double the interest and finance charges... the company doesn't mind at all!!

If the store issues you an upgraded card account, ask the store's credit department if you now have one account or two. The answer by them will answer this question for you. If you have only one card, use the new one, knowing your unpaid balance from the old one will be transferred to the new account and the old account was cancelled.
