Sell the car, lose the cable, ride public transportation. Next time you decide to get busy with your boyfreind think about the consequences. If you fail to plan, you can plan to fail. If you don't keep up with your credit cards, you will eventually be forced to make decisions that you can easily make without force.

You should contact the credit card companies. Explain the situation, and they may give you a month or so with no payment, or very minimal. But beware, they'll probably tack on some fees, and they may close your accounts. Either way they'll probably do that, but at least make the effort to work it out with them.

You could transfer the total amount owing from your straight facility to a budget facility on the card & stretch it over a longer period like 48 or 60 months. That way the monthly instalment will go lower but in the long run you will end up paying more for the interest. At least you wont be blacklisted as a bad payer in which case getting credit in the future to buy important things like a house or car will be close to impossible.

The other alternative is to approach the bank to allow you some time to pay the money off. But this is risky as you might end up being blacklisted.
