Capial One Credit Cards?

How many of you out there are sick, tired and fed up with Capital One's credit cards. This company sucks big time. I tried to register my card online and I recieved an error message saying "The information you entered does not match our records.

I called customer service and they looked up my information and said my date of birth was incorrect on their system. They decided to transfer me to their head customer service rep to fix the birth date. I was put on hold for 10 minutes listening to some lame music till I finally talked to a representative. It was a man from "India!"

I told him what happened and then he put me on hold for 5 minutes. He says he's having trouble changing the date and put me back on hold again. I finally just hang up. So if you guys know anymore bad incidents with Capital One let me know.
"Whats in your wallet my a@#!"

Capital One is one of the worst credit card companies in America.

If you have a balance, try to get a new card with a lower interest rate and more favorable fee structure, and transfer the balance.

Cut and run. They will ruin your credit rating and empty your wallet for years, if you don't get out ASAP.

Did you know that for many years CO would report your current balance as your "credit limit" on your report? This was making it look like you were maxed out! If you had a balance of $100 they would report this as your limit even if your limit was $50,000. This hurt a lot of people's credit scores and kept them from qualifying at lower interest rates. It also kept them from getting new cards to transfer their balances to. Your available credit and credit usage was like 30% of your score and this really hurt a bunch of card holders.
This was perfectly legal!
In August they decided to change this policy so if you have held a CO card with a balance on it, your credit score may go up where it should have been all along.

Welcome to the WONDERFUL world of automation.... ever try calling the gas company? the phone company? your child's doctor or school? You get to listen to a 15 minute disertation of all the products and services they offer and THEN you get to listen to a list of numbers and places... such as ---if you want to listen to your payment, press 1, set up an appointment press 2, die on the phone press 3.... it's NOT just Capital ONE... Call your internet provider... some guy pops on the phone and says HELLO this is JAMES... in a very thick foreign accent ---from a country where no one is named JAMES....and you can't understand a WORD they are saying to you and they don't understand YOU either... it's what they call PROGRESS... and I HATE it....it takes forever, causes MUCH frustration and is EXTREMELY irritating... In the interest of saving MONEY, what these companies have managed to do is completely aggravate their customers... I'm not sure IF they will ever do ANYTHING about it, but give me the days when you picked up a phone, dialed a number and an honest to goodness LIVE PERSON answered on the other end..... one who spoke FLUENT ENGLISH with no foreign accent!!!

I actually personally called the VP of marketing at Capital One to mak ethem stop sending me credit card offers. The company will flood you with junkmail & spam, and they could care less about offending customers. They are WAY too agressive on the marketing end and lousy on customer service. I refuse to do business with them.
