Credit card & personal loan debt...i'm in trouble?

I have been having a REALLY bad time for the last 2-3 years. I am 37. Went through a seperation. My business that I have owned for the last 12 years fizzeled out about 2 years ago. No formal education. And on and on.
I ran out of money so I cashed out all my credit cards and took 3-4 personal loans out to live on. I owe about $150K. No means of repaying. I am in deep.
So what is going to happen from here on out? What can the credit card companies and banks do to me? Am I going to jail? Can they take my car (its paid for). Don't have much else.

Any answers from those who know about this kind of thing would be great.

Thanks a bunch.

Peace and hugs,Sonny

Find yourself a bankruptcy attorney very quickly. In most states, they can only take your car if it exceeds a certain value. This is also true with most household items and even the tools of your trade. No one can put you in jail unless they can prove fraud which is very difficult to do.
