Credit Card Debt!!?
Some one Please help! I have so much debt. I have about 12 credit cards (nuts i know). Lately i have been able to only pay min payments and I feel like my debt is NOT GOING DOWN. Im still paying off my wedding and honeymoon with my husband, and furniture and other bills. Anyone know the best way to get out of this debt!? I have even thought of taking out a loan, but im scared to do that. Im living from check to check and its so frustrating at times. Im not able to save money and i have all these bills. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
For those wondering, I do not own a home. I rent. And havent stopped paying my bills. Im just late SOMETIMES with some of them.

There are no magic solutions. It will take time and discipline to pay them down.
That being said, you might still get some major relief from interest rates and late fees by going through credit counseling.

you will never get them paid off paying the min. payment did you know that for 4,000.00 in credit card debts it will take about 8 years to pay them off.you need to find a bank to loan you the money and pay them off and get rid of some of those cards.Good luck.

Forget debt consolodation, personal loans etc... they will just get you MORE in debt by stretching your payments out over a longer period of time.
1. Get committed to knocking your debt out. Stop using your credit cards immediately!
2. Get on a written budget and stick to it.
3 Eliminate unnecessay expenses.. Starbucks, Eating out, Movies, New electronics, brown bag your lunch... etc...
4. If you have a car payment, sell the car and downgrade until your debt is paid off.
5. Consider getting a second part time job..like pizza delivery or paper delivery (you could be making another $1,000 a month)
6. Take all the money you save and earn every month and apply the extra towards your smallest credit card balance while still paying the minimum on all your others.
7. Once the smallest is paid apply all your excess money to the next highest ..etc... etc..
This will work! It will knock down your debt quick. It will not require you paying someone else to pay your bills. It will force you to change your behavior!

Call Consumer Credit Counseling Services at 1-800-388-2227. They are the largest non profit credit counseling service in the Country.
I used them several years ago and they worked with my creditors to lower both my monthly payment and interest rate. I was debt free in 36 months.
