Can credit card companies garnish your wages for not paying?

My credit card bills are just way to high of a minimum monthly payment than i make a month....if i were to just stop paying them(i know my credit will be real bad) can they garnish my pay?

I'd say they can't - I hope I'm not wrong
they like to threaten to go to court all the time too.

I haven't messed with credit cards in several years now, but when I did my debt was out of control and I never went to court or got sued even though the companies would call me weekly and threaten me with legal action.

I would suggest paying as much as you can, if you pay nothing you will mess up your credit beyond repair for a long time. call the credit card co. and let them know you're having trouble making the payments - don't duck them, it will only make it worse.

and stop using your cards
cut them bad boys up

That has to be done via a court order. You had best go to a credit counselor. If they are way too high, you probably need bankruptcy protection and need an attorney.
