Will I be able to get a new home loan for another house with bad credit if I walk away from

my house? My house was on the market twice and did not sale and there are alot of houses for sale in my area.
Looking for answers or advice, not two bit judgements.....Thank you!

A month ago, yep. Now and from now on, very doubtful.

If possible, try just living there, riding it out. Or renting it out.

Probably not. My uncle-in-law did that when his house wouldn't sell. And when he tried to buy again several years later he couldn't qualify for enough of a loan. My aunt qualified for more with just her income then they did together because his credit was so bad.

So find any way you can to not default on that loan.
