just4today Guest Posts: n/a Casino Cash: $	Need a $3,000 loan...Home as Collateral, but bad credit. Is it possible? I just bought a house for $17,000, it is insured at $37,000. I need a loan for $3,000 to put in a new furnace. My credit is pretty bad (lots of bad marks equaling about $4,000 and sitting at about 550 or so.) Can I get a loan? Forgot to add. NO mortagage and income is at $1500 a month with SSI. Oh yes, I am certain I have to replace the furnace. I had a inspector come in and the furnace is 33 to 4o years old.
