If u have bad credit rating will it effect me from getting an account with 24 studio?

Hi guys, i have just came to know about 24 studio the christmas catalogue and what a great thing it is.
My only concern is i did not know it was credit only, which means that they will need to do a credit check on me, which is just rubbish as 3 years ago my sister went on a spending spree using my credit card, that was supposed to be cancelled and put me in 1,000 of debt, which i am trying to pay off bit by bit, however it is not easy when u are a fulltime student trying to pay this. Needles to say i had no proof to prosecute her as it was my word against hers.
I am more annoyed as i know this is going to effect my chances of getting account with studio.
I would like to know if this happened to any of use guys out there?? is studio strict when it comes to credit, i am good at paying things off and i would not be using the credit facility as i would rather pay it off.
Sorry guys i should of said that i have put an order in, the advisor said that it might take a while for them to process the order, i did not tell him about my credit rating.
It would be so much better if u had the choice wether u wanted credit or pay as normal, they would get more customers doing that as peeps hate taking out credit.

Each lender has a pointing system when deciding on providing credit so you will not know until they have decided and they wont do the check until you have placed an order.

If all you have is the above £1000 and you are repaying it...i would be surprised if they turned you down on that

Why not get a statement of your credit file? it only costs £2 and you will see what lenders see about you when they check your history

hmmm, tough one. your credit rating shouldnt be too bad as you are repaying it so that good for a start,

the best way to find out is apply for something online and see what happens, they normally send a letter out declining the order if there is a problem.
