I'm a nursing student who will be graduating in 2 years. I have really really really bad credit from my mistakes made in my early 20s. Since so many employers are doing credit checks, is there hope for me by the time I graduate?

Honestly, sometimes just thinking about this keeps me up at night. I know some might tell me to try to fix my credit, but I really can't until I start making money to.

Have you two been at your positions for long? The reason I ask is because I've been visiting the website allnurses.com and lately people have been reporting that either they themselves have been turned down for a job due to credit or someone they know has.

Could it be that credit checks are a starting trend?
