My husband has really poor credit but is the bread winner,I have descent credit with no income,we own our mobile home and are wanting to get a loan for 25,000 for the land and cost of moving the home to the property.Does anyone know how we can do this with our credit being the way it is??

1) Pay your bills on time and work on paying off the balances that made your husband's credit bad. The lower your credit balances, the better!

2) Start saving for a downpayment. The more you can put toward the costs the better.

I know this will be a balancing act, but everything you can do will help in the long run.

There's hope. Tons of people with poor credit histories have been able to clean up and get decent loans.

I would suggest working with your husband to clear up his negative credit history first. Otherwise you'll wind up getting a high-interest loan and wind up in more trouble than you're in now.
