Its doubtfull if you would be approved for a lease as it usually requires a credit check. Instead, try to rent on a per month basis, in cash, and expect to be asked for first & last months rent in advance, a security deposit, and proof that you are employed and can pay the bills. If your bad credit includes defaulting on rent payments expect to answer questions on how your going to settle it.. Rent is always a must pay bill.
